A campaign to increase young people's engagement in voting

In 2020, we teamed up with the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) to create solutions to involve young people (aged 18 to 29) in local elections.

Despite being a significant group, young people often have the lowest voter turnout and lock down posed a significant risk. The idea for a relatable campaign emerged from co designed workshops with young people. In the second phase, I led user interviews with young people which informed the design style and references applied throughout the visuals.

A lot of the young people we spoke to expressed that they were unsure what local government responsibilities entailed and how it would impact them so showcased topics they expressed were important to them.

Infographics for Spotify

Spotify conducted research to better understand how Spotify listeners compare to radio listeners so they could demonstrate value to potential advertisers.

The project started with Spotify's New York office and then expanded to offices in Belgium, Canada and the UK as they ended up requesting their own version. ‍I was the sole designer on this project and worked directly with Spotify project managers.
